Sylvans: Duel of the Mistwings

Description

Their wings could not be heard in the dark of night, their movements were no more than a fleeting shadow against the starlight. In this tactical dueling game, you must skillfully wield the strengths and abilities of your Mistwings against one another and think outside the box to conquer your opponent's grove. It is a battle of wits rather than one of brute force, for both sides must make the most of the contested terrain in order to win. Each player has the same 8 units (Mistwings) of strengths 1-8, which each have their own special ability. Mistwings can only capture others of equal or lesser strength and must be moved through at least one of the 8 rings on the corners of the board beforehand. A player wins the game if they have either managed to move one of their Mistwings into the opponent’s grove or have captured all of the opponent’s Mistwings. —description from the artist
