Off to Klondike

Description

Board game inspired by the Klondike Gold Rush (1896-1899) in the Yulon (north-western Canada). Players choose a character and are led through the trials and tribulations of the gold rush by throws of a die. A few elements make this game very thematic: 1. the board with all historically true locations connected to the Klondike Gold Rush. 2. Like for real Klondike gold prospectors, the game unfolds in 3 phases: the outward journey, at the goldfields and the homeward journey. 3. The players must spend time searching for gold at various claims (sometimes striking it rich, sometimes coming away with nothing).
