Description

Cardinals is a war-themed abstract strategy game for two players or two teams of two (with a 2 vs 1 mode also available), where rival sides battle for dominance over three key cities at the center of the board. Each side consists of two houses competing for control. To claim victory, your faction must hold at least two cities out of three long enough to secure dominance. But open conflict is only part of the challenge. While some information is visible to everyone, other elements remain hidden, creating room for bluffing, deduction, and tense mind games. You may think you know what your opponent is planning — but appearances can be deceiving. Every turn, players put more units on the battlefield; some of them will be hidden, and some of them will be visible. It´s the key to predicting your opponent, because a specific warrior can be very powerful against some units but at the same time very vulnerable against others. -description from publisher
