Description

Court of Shadows is a multiplayer bluffing card game of deception, deduction, and political intrigue. Each player secretly holds roles representing powerful figures within the Veiled Court. Players use these roles to claim abilities, manipulate coins, and eliminate rivals — but roles can be bluffed at any time. Players may challenge suspicious claims. If a bluff is exposed, the liar loses influence; if the challenger is wrong, they suffer the penalty instead. Through calculated bluffs, daring challenges, and careful observation, players attempt to outmaneuver their opponents and become the last player with influence in the Court. Court of Shadows is inspired by social deduction and bluffing games such as Coup and Mafia, emphasizing quick rounds and high-tension mind games. —description from the designer
