In VITA - Born in 832 - Rise of the Vikings players explore the life of characters in a historical period. Born on the coast of Denmark: A youth marked by harsh winters and clan feuds leads to a life of exploration and conquest. Travel across the seas or rebuild your homeland. Answer the call of the ancient gods or establish a dynasty in a foreign land under a new one. In this thematic strategy game, 2-4 players build up the biographies of their characters using events they obtain from a common "Tree of Life". The goal of the game is to gather the most happiness. VITA is played throughout 3 Chapters: In the YOUTH, characters are customized by their first life events and obtain an Ambition - a goal for their life. In the ADULTHOOD, characters compete with each other over valuable events and resources like wealth and fame.
