Description

A cooperative crew actions combat simulator during the service of historically familiar missions of WWII by the men of the US Air force B-17 Bomber Squadron. You take flight, fend off enemy plane attacks, and drop your payload on the target. This legacy light game allows you to upgrade your crew through successful shooting down enemy planes and for dropping bombs on the correct area of the map. Custom attack dice and damage allocation happens throughout the mission. Allocating where to place your crew on the b-17 and which to remove to allow for preparation of the drop are crucial decisions made by players. Maneuverability is counter intuitive as you seek to stay close together to give maximum fire power over the waves of enemy attacks. Play symmetrically as pilots or pic from one of five asymmetric pilots from real individuals who performed heroic acts during their service. —description from the designer
