Description
Loot the World is a tile ownership, connect-the-board, & push-your-luck strategy game for 3 to 4 players. Take control of Victorian era trading companies in a rabbid race to convert land into cold hard cash over a series of rounds where each player takes their turn using a Progressive Turn Order mechanism. There are two ways to win the game: either be the first player to connect opposite cardinal ends (i.e. North to South or East to West) with a continuous chain of owned tiles, or be the first to amass 40 or more gold bars in wealth. To achieve victory, players will purchase tiles, upgrade those tiles with buildings, and or expand their territory by capturing other players' tiles with an army. Of course, players may also choose to work with each other, until such a time where it may be beneficial to break that partnership in order to win.
