MAGI CHAIN is a competitive board game for 1 to 4 players. Players take on the role of apprentice magicians, advancing their pieces while utilizing special card plays called “Chains” and powerful supporters called “Spirits”, aiming to collect more victory points than other players by the end of the game. Victory points are earned by fighting monsters, delivering contracts to cities, learning certain spells, or leveling up your apprentice magician. Whether you prioritize movement for efficient paper delivery, relentlessly defeat monsters for bold victory point gains, or skillfully manage spirits and your deck for technical point-scoring—enjoy a richly varied adventure simulation each playthrough, shaped by the board's state, your strategy, and synergies with your spirits.
