On August 17th, 2006, 19 a year-old French National named Madeline Deparde was killed while riding her bike from the local grocery store in Sunnyview, Florida. Ms. Deparde was in the United States working as an Au Pair for Scott Zion and his family. 35 year-old Zion was driving the vehicle that struck Ms. Deparde and claims it was an accident.
