Aux Armes Citoyens is a game for two players simulating the Revolutionary Wars that ravaged France and Europe between 1792 and 1800. One player takes on the role of the French Republic, striving to ensure the Revolution's survival against its internal and external enemies. The other player takes on the role of the Coalition, led by England and Austria, seeking to crush revolutionary France in order to restore the Ancien Régime. Like Napoleon against Europe, Aux Armes Citoyens uses a card-based system of actions and events.
