Welcome to Snorkers, a solitaire naval wargame that places you in command of a Flower-class corvette during the treacherous Battle of the Atlantic in World War II. Gameplay Overview Snorkers offers a challenging and immersive solitaire experience. You will make critical decisions about navigation, ship management, and combat engagements. Your Flower-class corvette's performance will be influenced by the crew's morale, your strategic choices, and the randomness of war. As a corvette captain, your mission is clear: safeguard the vital supply convoys as they brave the perilous waters of the North Atlantic, battling relentless U-boats, aircraft, and the unforgiving elements. Victory Conditions Victory is achieved by successfully protecting your convoy and reaching your destination without sustaining critical damage or losing too many cargo ships. Your performance will be graded based on historical outcomes and specific mission objectives Devised during the dark days of covid 19 and lockdowns, Snorkers was created as an antidote to the many solitaire games that put the players in the shoes of U-boat commanders.
