Space Lite: Starship Nightmares is a cooperative survival game for 1 to 5 players. You play as seasoned space patrol soldiers responding to a distress signal from a commercial ship carrying hundreds of civilians—and now swarming with terrifying alien creatures. Enemies appear from all directions, and tension rises quickly. To survive, you’ll need tight cooperation, smart use of resources, and bold tactical decisions. Each mission presents a unique layout and objectives. Players control a squad of five soldiers, regardless of player count, exploring the ship by revealing new terrain, facing dynamic events, and pushing forward through waves of enemies. You’ll need to heal, reload, and share gear while constantly adapting to new threats and managing time. Gameplay is divided into two phases. During the Event Phase, unexpected challenges emerge, such as locked doors, system failures, or infected attacks. Then, in the Player Phase, each soldier can move, fight, heal, or interact with the environment. Attacks are resolved with dice, and different weapons, grenades, and action cards can turn the tide—if used wisely. But the greatest threat may be infection. Wounds and contact with the creatures can spread a parasite that mutates its host. If too many soldiers are infected, the mission may fail—no matter how many enemies you kill.
