E Squadron: A Solitaire Game

Description

Rumours of a group of British special forces Operatives known as 'the Increment' have been circulating for many years. Operating on behalf of Britain's Secret Intelligence Service, the missions undertaken are 'black ops' - deniable missions that would be refuted by the British government if compromised. These include a whole range of objectives where maximum discretion is required. E Squadron is the modern day successor to the Increment but no official confirmation of the group or any of its operations has been given. In the game you will be controlling a few Operatives from E Squadron as they attempt daring missions. As you will discover, stealth is often the key tactic here, although once that advantage is lost, things may well become more hectic! Set on a square grid, the game implements an easy system of line of sight as your Operatives and the Hostiles they face move around inside and outside buildings. Try to find cover and stay hidden or simply shoot your way out. You decide the approach. Explosives, climbing, overwatch - it's all here in this easy to learn and hard to master solitaire game. The game includes the rules, suggested colour counters and 10 full coloured Mission Maps. Replayability is provided by varying set up and using a different mix of E Squadron Operatives for each play through. —description from the designer
