Description

A game of tactical warfare in World War 2, designed for 15mm figures but easily adapted to other scales. Each side typically controls a company of infantry plus a few tanks. One model figure represents one soldier or vehicle. The game is played on a square grid to eliminate measuring. It uses handfuls of dice to simulate the uncertainty of combat whilst still producing a result that tends towards the mean. The emphasis is on effective use of troops rather than minute detail of weapons systems. The rules include a simple scenario generator. The game is supported by a separate "Company Architect" book which contains options for creating historically plausible companies from a large selection of combatant nations. The publisher also offers an extensive range of 15mm figures for use with the rules
