In Azardtia: First Impact, players compete on a ruthless prison planet, using strategy and resource management to overcome obstacles and outmaneuver opponents. Only the most cunning will escape in this dice-and-card-driven board game. On their turn, players roll two ten-sided dice to determine movement, choosing between their sum or the difference between both values. Landing on certain spaces may lead to confrontations or force the drawing of action or penalty cards. Additionally, players draw and play cards that provide strategic advantages, hinder opponents, or alter the game state. Effective hand management and timing are crucial to reaching the extraction point. Players can challenge each other to duels, where the winner gains a level and the loser drops one, sometimes facing the penalty of moving backward on the board.
