The year is 1842. Oxten, once a sleepy coastal hamlet, now buzzes with newcomers and the need for quality wooden goods is increasing. From dining tables to rocking chairs, the villagers desire pieces that will last a lifetime. With honed skills and experience, the woodworkers of Oxten fulfill the villagers' demand for handcrafted heirlooms and gain notoriety along the way. In Joinery, players compete to become the most renowned woodworker in Oxten by fulfilling woodworking contracts for villagers to provide them with various goods - wooden bowls, benches, cupboards, and more. In doing so, players may receive coins to upgrade their workshop and buy materials as well as gain Mastery Points for completing more complex contracts. —description from the designer
