Description
Inspired by the creator's own experience of a late 30s person transitioning in a supportive (but very corporate) job and a conversation with a loved one about one ridiculous (but well-intentioned) component of that job’s policy. This is a stupid game about well-meaning people. How capitalism is all about fitting people into boxes to keep the machine well-oiled, and what happens when someone isn't easily sorted into preexisting boxes. No matter how pure the intention, having someone act as the educator and authority on an identity they have no experience with always ends up in hilarious misunderstandings and assumptions. We respect all identities here. The intent of this game is to poke fun at well intentioned but poorly executed acts of support (that can sometimes feel like microagressions). Players are encouraged to use the X-card early and liberally. Bigotry (of any flavor) is not allowed. This game intentionally does not allow any player to take on the role of Employee Q. It is a safe assumption that most, if not all, players have been in Employee Q’s shoes at some point. Employee Q shall remain as faceless and voiceless as we have felt in those moments.
